Riyadh, (TDI): In a significant move to bolster international collaboration, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Madiyar Mengilbekov, met with the Kingdom’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Rassi.
The discussions centred on enhancing cooperation within prominent international organizations, reflecting the strengthening ties between the two nations.
The meeting emphasized the importance of joint efforts within platforms such as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the United Nations (UN), and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Both parties underscored the necessity of effective coordination to promote peace, security, and development on a global scale. In particular, they highlighted the significance of:
OIC Collaboration: Strengthening bilateral and multilateral initiatives to ensure regional stability and address shared challenges.
UN Engagement: Aligning efforts to support the UN’s mission in maintaining international peace and fostering sustainable development.
IAEA Partnership: Advancing the exchange of knowledge and expertise in nuclear safety and the peaceful application of nuclear energy.
