TDI / IPDS internship is a professional engagement designed to challenge, train, and elevate those who are serious about careers at the intersection of media and global affairs.
Interns work directly alongside our editorial team, contributing real work to a real publication. You will write, edit, think, and deliver — week after week, for three months.

Write substantive analytical pieces on international affairs, foreign policy, and geopolitical developments. Develop your voice as a credible commentator on global issues.
News, Press Releases & Digital Content
Craft timely news stories, press releases, and digital-first content. Learn the pace and discipline of news production in a specialist media environment.
Digital Diplomacy & Media Strategy
Engage in practical learning on digital diplomacy, strategic communications, and foreign affairs journalism. Understand how media shapes and is shaped by the international order.

Remote and Online.Participants work remotely while adhering to timelines and clearly defined deliverables.

Who Should Apply

Eligibility Criteria
- Background in International Relations, Political Science, or related discipline
- Strong written English — clear, structured, and precise
- Demonstrable interest in diplomacy, foreign policy, or strategic communications
- Ability to dedicate 5 hours per day for 3 consecutive months
- Professional discipline: punctuality, accountability, and initiative
- No requirement for prior publication, but prior writing samples are strongly preferred
