Islamabad (TDI): Chairperson of Turkiya Airline Pegasus and business organization Hitit Ms Nur Gokman said on Friday that Turkiya was keen on increasing business-to-business (B2B) activities with Pakistan in various sectors of industry and trade including airlines.
She made these remarks during a meeting with the Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Privatization & Communications Abdul Aleem Khan in Islamabad. The two dignitaries discussed various matters of mutual interest.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson Ms Nur Gokman said that her organization enjoyed a big market share with over 70 major airlines and now it was highly interested in investing by Hitit in Pakistan.
Aleem Khan welcomed the offer and highlighted friendly and historical relations between Pakistan and Turkiye. “The people from both sides are bound by heartfelt ties with each other,” he said.

He said that like Pegasus and Hitit, national institutions from other countries were also interested in investment opportunities and the practical results of this will start coming soon.
Aleem noted that Pakistan was introducing positive changes on a large scale in various sectors including Communications and was fully encouraging foreign investments in Pakistan.

He also welcomed the visit of Nur Gokman – the head of the company which is PIA’s largest partner and the 3rd largest institution in the aviation sector.
Aleem assured all possible cooperation for her business group’s investments in Pakistan.
The meeting was also attended by the Chief Officer of Hitit Mr Atilla Lise and the Coordinator for Pakistan Ms Ayse Gamze Basar.
