ANKARA, (TDI): Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in Ankara on Monday, according to an official statement.
The meeting was also attended by Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, Turkish National Intelligence Organization Chief Ibrahim Kalin, Jordanian Chief of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti, and Jordanian Intelligence Chief Major General Ahmad Husni, the Turkish Foreign Ministry reported.

No details were provided about the outcomes of the discussions.
However, Turkish diplomatic sources indicated that the talks were expected to focus on enhancing cooperation between Ankara and Amman in areas such as defense, counterterrorism, and the defense industry.
Fidan was also anticipated to highlight the strong and close collaboration between the two nations.

Safadi’s last official visit to Türkiye took place on October 15, 2024.
