Pakistan, China Vow Enhanced Cooperation

Islamabad (TDI): Pakistan and China have reaffirmed commitment to expanding cooperation in diverse fields.

It was agreed during a meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, in Islamabad on Thursday.

They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of bilateral interest.

The Chinese envoy conveyed heartfelt best wishes to President Zardari from the Chinese leadership.

He also delivered a card from President Xi Jinping wishing a happy new year to his counterpart, emphasizing the deep bond between the two countries.
