Hekmatyar met Ambassador of Pakistan in Kabul

Kabul, 22 August 2021 (TDI): Former prime minister of Afghanistan and Hezb-e-Islami Chief Gulbuddin Hekmatyar met Ambassador Mansoor Ahmad Khan in Kabul.  Both sides discussed the current situation in Afghanistan and the way forward for an inclusive broad-based system between the Taliban and other Afghan communities.

Later talking to a Pakistani media outlet Hekmatyar urged India to look at its internal matters and refrain from meddling with Afghan affairs. He has also urged India to play a positive and constructive role in Afghanistan. He said that India should not use Afghanistan soil to fight the war on Kashmir. He has appreciated the efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan for the peaceful and negotiated settlement of the Afghan issue.
