Islamabad, 7 August 2024 (TDI): A fire broke out in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building on Wednesday due to a short circuit, media reports said.
Blasts followed the fire at the reception area of the Agha Shahi block of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

However, the ministry’s emergency response immediately kicked in and the fire was brought under control causing no damage to any record or infrastructure.
No loss of life was reported in the incident.
