Journal of International Affairs: Politics, Economics, Law, published by the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and the Journal of Peace and Diplomacy, published by Diplomatic Insight Publishers Pvt Ltd and the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies in Pakistan, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote research and academic collaboration to strengthen scholarly cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
The MoU aims to promote joint research, publication initiatives, and the exchange of best practices in journal management and editorial processes. By combining their expertise, the journals will create avenues for collaborative academic endeavours, including webinars, workshops, and conferences, enhancing cross-border intellectual dialogue.
Through this partnership, the Journal of International Affairs: Politics, Economics, Law will provide access to its vast repository of research materials, promoting the Journal of Peace and Diplomacy within its networks while collaborating on joint publications and research projects. The Journal of Peace and Diplomacy will share its editorial expertise, foster collaborative research, and advocate for the Journal of International Affairs within Pakistan and the international community.
This five-year agreement underscores the shared commitment of both organizations to advancing global research on critical subjects, including politics, economics, law, peace, and diplomacy, reflecting a collective vision for knowledge-driven solutions to global challenges.
Adding to this collaboration’s significance, Muhammad Asif Noor, Patron-in-Chief of the Journal of Peace and Diplomacy, has been appointed Editorial Board Member of the Journal of International Affairs, published by the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. This prestigious board includes esteemed members such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and representatives from key governmental institutions.
As a distinguished board member, Mr. Noor will be pivotal in guiding the journal’s mission to advance research and foster meaningful dialogue in international affairs and diplomacy. His appointment reflects the growing recognition of Pakistan’s contributions to global academic and diplomatic discourse.
