RAWALPINDI, (TDI): At least eight terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation carried out by security forces in the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, according to a military statement released on Thursday.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, reported that the operation was launched in the Razmak area of North Waziristan due to the presence of Khwarij terrorists on the night of September 25-26.
During the operation, intense firefights occurred between security forces and the militants, leading to the neutralization of eight Khwarij fighters known for their involvement in terrorism and the targeted killing of innocent civilians.

Additionally, security forces recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition from the slain militants, further disrupting their capacity to carry out attacks against both security personnel and civilians.

In the aftermath of the operation, security forces are conducting a thorough sanitization of the area to ensure no remaining elements of the Khwarij are left to threaten the safety and stability of the region.
