61st Independence Day of the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Congo:30 June 2021 (TDI): Independence Day or National day of Congo is celebrated every year on 30th June. The day is observed to celebrate the Democratic Republic of Congo’s independence from Belgium in 1960. This year marks the 61st Independence Day of Congo.

The Democratic Republic of Congo is located in Central Africa, with a 25-mile coastline on the Atlantic Ocean otherwise it’s landlocked. In the continent, the largest country is Algeria and Congo is the second largest country.

The capital of Congo is Kinshasa, which is situated on the Congo River. As the largest city in Central Africa, Congo serves the country’s official administration and considered an economic and cultural center.

Every year, the people of Congo celebrate their independence day with great enthusiasm. People gather around the Parliament “Le Palais du” for the firework.
