Philippines-Argentina commemorates 73rd Anniversary of diplomatic relations

Manila, 27 August 2021 (TDI): The Republic of the Philippines and the Argentine Republic celebrate 73 years (since 1948) of formal diplomatic relations today, August 27.

Stretching 17,125 km, there are around 224 Filipinos reside in Argentina. The two countries have a common ground on nuclear and conventional weapons disarmament. The two sides commit to Group of 77 (G77) – designed to promote its members’ collective economic interests and create an enhanced joint negotiation – on the negotiations leading in United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) 15. 

Between the two countries,the trade volume is  $283,400,000 (2020) and total export of $209,600,000 (2020). Both countries support each other on national and international issues.
