New York (TDI): The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, met with the Foreign Minister and Minister of Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó, today in New York.
The Pakistani foreign minister is visiting the United States, where he met with several foreign dignitaries, including the Chinese foreign minister, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, and some members of the Pakistani diaspora.
In this meeting, the primary focus is on the longstanding and multifaceted relationship between Pakistan and Hunry. Both countries have been convinced of improved bilateral and multilateral cooperation and have reasserted their firm commitment to achieving their desired goals and objectives.
Both leaders have convinced and welcomed the successful conclusion of the 3rd Session of the Pakistan-Hungary Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation, held on 6-7 February 2025 in Islamabad.
This crucial meeting happened on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Hungary. In this sense, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister have expressed the hope to host the Hungarian Foreign Minister as soon as possible.
