Rawalpindi, 30 May 2023 (TDI): General Patrick Sanders, Chief of the General Staff of the British Army, arrived in Pakistan for a five-day defense engagement visit to strengthen the long-standing defense cooperation agreement between the United Kingdom and Pakistan.
During his visit, General Sanders will meet with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir, among other high-ranking officials, to discuss various elements of bilateral military cooperation.
The visit exemplifies the closeness and warmth of the two countries’ military ties and friendship, which are rooted in their shared history and a shared commitment to regional and international security.
