Mogadishu, 20 September 2021 (TDI): The European Union Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Somalia, Tiina Intelmann, met with the Somali Minister for Commerce and Industry, Khalif Abdi Omar to discuss the EU and Somalia joint programs and private sector development.
The meeting encompassed various ongoing joint programs between the European Union and the Federal Republic of Somalia. The Minister also briefed the Ambassador and her team about the details and progress of those projects.
Along with it, the discussions also focused on the progress of the European Union Support for the Private Sector Development Initiatives in the medium term. The EU team was finely briefed about the progress of all the projects running under the banner of the European Union. The meeting closed on a happy note with expectations about the timely completion of all projects.
