Islamabad, 10 March 2023 (TDI): The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Quaid-i-Azam University participated in a solemn ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU was signed in coordination with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan. Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Shaista Sohail of Quaid-i-Azam University & Member of the Management Board & Vice-Rector for Social Development Nurzhan Aidosov represented KazNU.

The two sides indicated a desire to put into action concrete measures to advance and strengthen collaboration between the two universities.

Universities from Kazakhstan, Pakistan sign MoU to strengthen educational tiesFor his part, Ambassador Kistafin, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan thanked the two universities’ Presidents for signing the memorandum and pledged to offer any help he can to boost inter-university collaboration.

Following the event’s conclusion, a decision was made on the planning of a visit by universities from Pakistan to Kazakhstan.

Pakistan and Kazakhstan have a close collaboration in the field of education which has strengthened over time.

The two countries have collaborated in a variety of educational areas. Universities in Pakistan have developed academic relations with a number of universities in Kazakhstan.

In addition to fostering academic brilliance, these educational links have also encouraged cross-cultural dialogue and mutual understanding between the two countries.
