Qasr Al Bahr, 23 June 2022 (TDI): The UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Nicolae Ciucă, Prime Minister of Romania, for a bilateral dialogue.
Several ministers, including those from the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, attended this particular meeting.
The Ministers of Infrastructure, Climate Change, and the Environment are among the other ministers in attendance. A number of authorities and representatives from Romania also attended the dialogue.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed warmly welcomed the delegation that the prime minister of Romania had brought with him. The President expressed his hope that the visit would strengthen their bilateral ties in a number of different areas.
The UAE President and the Romanian Prime Minister discussed ways to strengthen and broaden their collaboration in a number of important areas. In particular, the sectors of investment, trade, development, and agriculture are included.
During the meeting, the two dignitaries also discussed recent advancements regarding regional and global problems of shared concern.
Additionally, they talked about matters that were crucial and urgent for both Romania and the UAE.
They also discussed the expansion and strengthening of the two nations’ bilateral engagement at the political, economic, and sectoral levels.
Projects in the fields of energy, port infrastructure, agriculture, and information technology were the key topics.
UAE-Romania bilateral meeting
The discussion established certain criteria for proposals to diversify the sources of the oil and gas supply. At the same time, the UAE President received condolences from Romania’s Prime Minister for the loss of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and he congratulated Sheikh Mohamed on becoming President of the UAE.
Moreover, the prime minister of Romania wished the president well as he leads the nation to new heights of development. According to Nicolae Ciucă, this will fulfill the desires of the local populace.
The UAE President responded by thanking Ciucă for his honest sentiments. The president wished for Romania to experience greater growth and prosperity.
