PM Shehbaz Extends Eid Greetings to Tajik, Qatari Leaders

Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday held separate telephone conversations with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to convey his warm greetings and best wishes to the leaders as well as the brotherly people of both countries on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

During the calls, the leaders expressed satisfaction over the strengthening bilateral relations, whereby PM Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to cooperation in trade and investment with both countries.

President Emomali Rahmon thanked the Prime Minister for the telephone call and conveyed his sincere good wishes for the people of Pakistan on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.

The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of bilateral relations that have grown consistently and have accelerated since the Prime Minister’s visit to Dushanbe in July last year.

Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani also conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to the Prime Minister and people of Pakistan.

The two leaders also reaffirmed their common desire to further strengthen the close brotherly relations in trade and investment.

Earlier, the Prime Minister also held a telephone call with Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman, to convey his warm greetings to him and the people of Oman.

Recalling the close fraternal ties between the two nations, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong desire to further strengthen bilateral collaboration with Oman across all spheres.
