Paris, 29 February 2024 (TDI): Pakistan Ambassador to France, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, made an appearance at the prestigious “France International Agricultural Show,” marking its 60th edition in Paris.

During his attendance, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad engaged in fruitful discussions with a diverse array of agriculture and livestock professionals.

The much-anticipated Salon de l’Agriculture, marking its 60th edition at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Porte de Versailles from February 24 to March 3, 2024.

Despite a delayed opening and a bustling first day on Saturday, February 24, the event has quickly gained momentum, attracting attendees from across the globe.

The 60th edition of the International Agricultural Show in Paris is a testament to the resilience and innovative spirit of the global agricultural community.

Despite facing numerous challenges, the event underscores the importance of acknowledging the efforts of farmers and stakeholders while advocating for fair income and recognition.

The Salon International de l’Agriculture not only celebrates the achievements of seasoned professionals but also nurtures the talents of the next generation.

Through competitions tailored for students in agriculture and hotel management studies, as well as young professionals, the event provides a platform for over 11,000 young participants annually.

These competitions, designed by the Ministry in charge of agriculture, aim to showcase and assess the excellence of students in various agricultural disciplines.

In its 60th year, the exhibition-show continues to captivate audiences with its diverse offerings. Divided into four major zones encompassing Livestock, Food Products, Vegetable Crops, and Agricultural Trade Services, the event highlights the best of French agriculture.

Additionally, seven contests organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty accentuate the excellence of agricultural training courses in France.

From animal judging contests to showcasing agro ecological practices, the event serves as a beacon of innovation and excellence in the agricultural sector.
