DAMASCUS, September 09, 2024 (TDI): At least four people were killed and over 13 wounded when several Israeli strikes hit multiple areas in central Syria late night Sunday, Syrian state-run media reported.
According to the report that the Syrian air defenses confronted an aggression that hit several points in the its area and it damaged a highway in Hama province and sparked fires that firefighting teams were battling to control early this morning.
The injured people were rushed to Masyaf National Hospital in western Hamas province, Syrian State News Agency (SANA) said, while quoting hospital head Faysal Haydar.
It has yet to be ascertain as whether the killed and injured were civilians or fighters.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a U.K.-based war monitor, reported that one of the strikes targeted a scientific research center in Maysaf and other sites where “Iranian militias and experts are stationed to develop weapons in Syria.” Local media also reported strikes around the coastal city of Tartous.
Meanwhile, Aljazeera TV reported that 14 people were killed by the Israel missile attacked.
Its report also gave details of the targets that were hit. Quoting two regional intelligence sources the report said that a major military research centre for arms production located near Masyaf had been hit several times.

It was blamed that a team of Iranian military experts involved in weapons production and working at the site. However, the blames could not be confirmed by an independent source.
Iran has reportedly condemned the brutal attack in Syria.
