Lahore (TDI): Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula, Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan, has emphasized the need for increased connectivity, economic collaboration, and stronger people-to-people ties between Ethiopia and Pakistan.
The Ambassador delivered a keynote address at the 122nd National Management Course last week in Lahore, attended by senior officials and participants from various sectors, served as a platform to discuss bilateral relations and consider avenues for mutual growth.
Ambassador Abdula underlined the significance of strengthening deeper economic and security cooperation between the two nations.
He highlighted Ethiopia’s ongoing economic and governance reforms, which he described as crucial to creating a conducive environment for international partnerships.

The Ambassador expressed optimism about the potential for long-term engagement with Pakistan, particularly in trade, investment, and cultural exchange.

Dr. Adbula commended Pakistan’s ‘Look Africa’ policy, which means to expand diplomatic and economic relations with African nations.

He noted that Ethiopia views Pakistan as a key partner in South Asia and expressed the country’s willingness to collaborate on initiatives that benefit both nations.
