The World Government Summit 2024, held in Dubai, from 12th February to February 14th, included Turkiye, India, and Qatar as the Guests of Honor, more than 25 Heads of State, and 4000 delegates from around the world.

Turkiye: The country has been actively investing in digital transformation across various sectors. They have been thriving in building smart cities and innovative technologies. An example is the Turkish AI Initiative (TRAI), to develop and sustain artificial intelligence for research and applications in Turkey.
Also, the country focuses on six strategic priorities; educating citizens in AI, supporting research activities, entrepreneurship and innovation in AI, access to technical infrastructure, making arrangements to accelerate socioeconomic changes, and improving international cooperation.
India: India aims to promote e-governance through its ongoing initiatives of the Aadhaar Program (digital identity) and its Digital India Campaign. The country highlights discussions on AI advancement for agriculture and rural development.
It aims at incorporating emerging technologies in Neurosurgery Simulation Training, the Indian Army’s accident prevention system, and the MoU between Ericson and Centre for Responsible AI (CeRAI). Reportedly, Ericson Research stated that 6G and future networks will seemingly aim at integrating the physical and digital worlds.

Government Ideas Portal: Creating an online portal where the citizens have easy access and can drop in their ideas for betterment in the government sectors. As a result, this can help create trust between governments and the public and ensure transparency with feedback.
WGS includes Regional and International Sessions Respectively: Additionally, the dedicated sessions can explore and address the challenges and opportunities. It will facilitate solutions according to the regional context.
