Dushanbe, 2 October 2021 (TDI): The Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, Muzaffar Huseinzoda met with the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, Terhi Hakala.
The Minister showed gratitude and welcomed Terhi Hakala. Both parties exchanged views on the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union. They discussed the new EU Strategy in Central Asia. They also discussed the plan of action for the implementation of the EU projects in Tajikistan.
The parties agreed to maintain dialogue on regular basis to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the EU. However, the EU has been the main supporter of Central Asian Republics during the COVID19 pandemic. Also, lend a helping hand in post-pandemic developments.
