Islamabad, 5 October 2021 (TDI): As part of a tight diplomatic agenda, Qatar is strengthening its ties with neighboring countries. Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi received a message from his Qatari counterpart.
Expectedly, this meeting served as a catalyst to promote bilateral relations between the two countries. Furthermore, both authorities discussed ways to support and develop their nations. Qatar and Pakistan have deep-rooted and historical multi-dimensional relations. Its diplomatic interactions are based on cultural affinities, shared traditions, and values, geographical proximity, and identity of interests.Â
After the meeting, Qatari authority Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani announced his gratitude towards the Pakistani Foreign Minister. The future of further enhancing bilateral relations of Pakistan and Qatar is beneficial, diversified, and strategically important.Â
