Romeoville, 21 November 2021, (TDI): On Thursday the Consul General of Pakistan to Chicago, Tariq Karim visited a village in Illinois called, Romeoville. The Consul General met with John D. Noak, the Mayor of Romeoville.
Over six hundred business opportunities are available in Romeoville. The Consul General held a meeting with the Mayor of Romeoville. Both exchanged their views on cooperation and collaboration. The two officials agreed on improving people-to-people interaction.

They discussed opportunities for mutually beneficial investments. They also communicated on civic collaboration in different fields. As Romeoville is already a hub of business, it would help in boosting economic opportunities for the Pakistani community in Chicago.
The Consul General has been making serious efforts to improve the bilateral partnership between the two states. By holding dinners and organizing events he is continuously engaged in strengthening the economic and diplomatic ties between the different state departments.
Tariq Karim is working to facilitate the Pakistani Community in Canada. By improving interaction with the Pakistani diaspora in Chicago. He has also arranged seminars to raise voices over the humanitarian crisis.
USA and Pakistan Bilateral Collaboration
The United States of America and Pakistan both have been working to strengthen their relationship by enhancing bilateral cooperation. Both have been contributing in various fields and different projects.
U.S. and Pakistan aspire to keep on improving their partnership. The United States of America has provided generous funding to Pakistan during the pandemic; and for the implementation of its ‘Ehsaas Program’, trying to help the people affected by the global pandemic.
The U.S. and Pakistan are also collaborating on defensive strategies to protect the region of South Asia and in maintaining peace and stability in the region. However, both have been collaborating whilst protecting their national interests.
