Islamabad (TDI): Pakistani astronauts Kharam Dawood and Mohammad Zheshan Ali called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the PM House in Islamabad to discuss their upcoming human space mission.
The meeting was also attended by China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong and representatives from SUPARCO, including astronaut Hasnain Afkar.
During the interaction, the prime minister expressed his pleasure at meeting the young astronauts and termed their mission a major milestone for Pakistan. He said the initiative would mark a new chapter in the country’s space exploration journey and serve as a source of pride for the entire nation.

The Prime Minister praised the astronauts for their dedication, calling their mission a significant milestone for Pakistan and a matter of national pride.
He highlighted that China-assisted mission will add new dimensions to the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The astronauts described the opportunity to conduct research in space for Pakistan as a unique honour and source of pride and vowed to work diligently to meet the nation’s expectations.
