Pakistan–Romania–Sri Lanka Trade Dialogue Held at PRBC Headquarters

Karachi (TDI): The Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC) hosted Sanjeewa Pattiwila, Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi, at its headquarters for a follow-up engagement aimed at strengthening trilateral economic cooperation between Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Romania.

The meeting was led by PRBC Chairman Sohail Shamim Firpo and Chief Operating Officer and Advisor Atif Farooqi.

Discussions focused on expanding trade facilitation mechanisms, enhancing investment opportunities, strengthening insurance sector linkages, and exploring broader sectoral cooperation, particularly in healthcare and related industries. Dr. Akmal Sultan, PRBC Regional Lead for Health, also participated in the dialogue.

Farooqi stated, “We deeply value the Consul General’s steadfast commitment to regional economic synergy. PRBC remains fully dedicated to bridging Pakistan, Romania, and Sri Lanka through innovative multi-nation partnerships that drive sustainable growth and shared prosperity.” Both sides expressed optimism for concrete outcomes in trilateral ventures.
