Islamabad, 17 November 2023 (TDI): Pakistan Foreign Ministry on Thursday in strongest terms condemned the bombardment by Israeli Occupation Forces in the surroundings of a Jordanian field hospital in occupied Gaza.

According to the statement by spokesperson Foreign Affairs Pakistan, “This inhumane attack is the latest in a series of attacks on hospitals and medical facilities in Gaza and constitutes a war crime and a flagrant violation of international law.”

“Pakistan joins the call for a thorough investigation into this barbaric incident and other attacks on medical facilities in Gaza.”

It also added that the Occupation forces are to be held accountable for the war crimes being perpetrated in the Occupied Palestinian territories.

The statement also addressed the international community to urgently intervene to bring an end to the atrocities being committed in Gaza.

It also called for an immediate ceasefire to protect civilian lives and infrastructure in occupied Palestine, specifically Gaza.

The Jordanian staff members were attempting to treat Palestinian citizens who had been injured during Israel’s bombing and transport Palestinian citizens to the emergency department.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, in a media talk said that we are demanding an investigation into what happened so that we see what the legal action will be taken.

He also remarked that the attack on Jordanian Field Hospital obviously was a part of the overall war that we see continue to unfold in Gaza, and again it is incomprehensible that people trying to offer medical help to wounded get hit as well.
