Islamabad (TDI): Pakistan and Belarus reaffirmed their commitment to fostering mutually beneficial cooperation during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov in Islamabad on Monday.
The two leaders engaged in discussions on a wide range of bilateral and regional issues, including preparations for Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s visit to Pakistan, scheduled for later in the day.
Expressing satisfaction with the steady pace of bilateral exchanges and high-level visits, the ministers voiced optimism that President Lukashenko’s visit would serve to further strengthen ties between the two nations.

Regional and global developments, including the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, also featured prominently in the talks.
Both sides emphasized the importance of a peaceful resolution to conflicts and called for coordinated efforts to address the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The two ministers highlighted the significance of closer collaboration in international and regional forums to advance shared interests and tackle global challenges collectively.
