Dubai, 18 November 2021 (TDI): Mongolia Day and a business forum were held on 17th November, at the Dubai Expo 2020. The national flag of Mongolia was hoisted at the event. A national art performance was also presented.

Pavilion of Mongolia

During the event, A.Gankhuleg, the Specialist of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) introduced a specially decorated tent as well as the exhibition pavilion of Mongolia. CEO of MNCCI, T.Duuren as well as the Commissioner General of Expo 2020 addressed the attendees at the occasion.

Like many other countries, Mongolia is also participating in the Expo 2020 Dubai. Expo 2020 is organized by UAE and commenced on October 1st. It will last till March 31st, 2022. The theme of the Expo is, ‘Connecting Minds and Creating the Future’.

Mongolia’s Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020

The Mongolian pavilion embodies the theme of the Expo. The design of the pavilion represents the environment, tourism, customs, unique climatic features, historical monuments, and traditions of the country.

The pavilion is promoting the products of national manufacturers and the investment opportunities and environment of the country.

Mongolia-UAE Business Forum

A Mongolia-UAE business forum and meeting also took place at the occasion with the objective to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Development Agency, MNCCI from the Mongolian side, and Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) from the UAE side organized the forum.

The event was attended by the Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of MFA G.Ulziisaikhan, and the President of the MNCCI O.Amartuvshin, as well.

Mongolia will also open an embassy in Abu Dhabi. The inauguration is under the framework of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
