Islamabad, 8 September 2021 (TDI): The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, Asim Iftikhar wished North Macedonia on its National day and extend his heartfelt congratulations to the Macedonian government and its people.
The Republic of Macedonia is a small country on the Balkan Peninsula Northwest of Greece. It was formed after getting independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. The name ‘Macedonia’ is the oldest surviving name of this country in the European continent. It changes its name to the Republic of North Macedonia in 2019.
Pakistan and North Macedonia share government-to-government, people-to-people and business-to-business relations. The two states also coordinate in mutual cooperation in different areas of diplomacy, politics, and trade.
