Libyan Undersecretary called on FM Burundi

Tripoli, 10 September 2021 (TDI): Omar Mohamed Keti, Deputy State Secretary for International Cooperation and Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Albert Shingiro, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Republic of Burundi on the outskirts of the Egyptian International Cooperation Forum in Cairo, in the Egyptian capital.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Hoda Al-Muqairhi, communication and international relations at the Ministry of State for economic affairs. The meeting discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as well as issues related to cooperation in Africa and the coordination of positions on issues of common interest.

Albert Shingiro expressed his country’s desire to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two countries, adding that it would teach its ministry to prepare the memorandum and discuss it with the Libyan side, signing it as soon as possible.
