Islamabad, 30 September 2021 (TDI): Yerzhan Kistafin, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, held a detailed meeting with Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation.
Both sides discussed joint initiatives in the field of science and technology. Also, capacity building as well as establishment of linkages between universities. Moreover, both parties discussed to establish Al-Farabi chair in Pakistan and Iqbal chair in Kazakhstan’s universities.
Ambassador Yerzhan appreciated COMSTECH initiatives for OIC member states and assured of full support from Kazakhstan. Moreover, he informed that Kazakhstan will hold live conference on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of Pak-Kazakh relationship. These initiatives will help strengthening bilateral relations between Nur-Sultan and Islamabad.
