Vienna, 1 October 2021 (TDI): Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schellenberg met with Kyrgyzstan Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev.
Both sides pressed their potential for bilateral business cooperation. Kyrgyz-Austrian business meeting held in 2020 to strengthen the ties and to establish a new partnership between the two countries.

Austrian Foreign Minister said that he will visit Bishkek for EU-Central Asia Economic Forum. This EU-Central Asia Economic Forum will be held in Bishkek to fortifying bilateral cooperation.
The Foreign Minister of Austria also manifested the support for Central Asian Counties. Taliban takeover in Afghanistan has created tension in the Central Asian Countries. Central Asian Countries are allies of the USA, also known as C5+1.
Austria and Kyrgyzstan have had good bilateral ties since 1992. They are cooperating on multiple fronts.
