New York, 25 September 2021 (TDI): Denmark Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod met with the Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard C.
Both sides discussed the COP26 climate ambitions. COP26 is the upcoming 26th conference of United Nations Climate Change.
The ambitions in COP26 are important to tackle the anthropogenic impacts on climate. Denmark’s target is to innovate Europe about Climate Changes so that COP26 will be successful.

Both countries have good relations and are good trading partners.
Both Foreign Ministers also discussed the Green Strategic Partnership. Denmark and Mexico focussed on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), green transition, and climate. Denmark Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod stated that Denmark is keenly interested to promote the Green Energy Transition in Mexico.
