Tel Aviv (TDI): The Jewish-Arab Standing Together Movement has announced that it will launch a nationwide campaign featuring billboards with pictures of Gaza’s children bombed and killed by Israel.
The announcement came after Israeli police first banned the display of children of Gaza in an anti-war protest scheduled to take place in Tel Aviv, this Thursday, and then backtracked.
Standing Together Movement is the organizer of this upcoming protest and in a post on X, said that the police had to give up on the ban in the face of public pressure.

After the police lifted the ban, Alon-Lee Green, co-director of Standing Together said that they will now put the pictures on billboards for the world to see.
Israel has killed more than 51,200 Palestinians since October 2023, and most of them are women and children.
The Israeli onslaught has particularly targeted Palestinian children and the pictures of their injured faces and deranged bodies have made rounds on social media.

Standing Together is an Israeli movement of Jews and Arabs which is not just against Israel’s war on Gaza but also sees this in connective with democratic backsliding in Israel and Israeli regime’s attacks on Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel.
The movement believes that occupation of Palestinian territories must be seen in relation to these other two developments, rapidly unfolding in Israel.
The Israeli government strictly prohibits the use of the word ‘genocide’ in anti-war protests in the country and also crackdowns heavily on any signs and slogans it considers “hostage.”
