Beijing, 7 March 2024 (TDI): Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi advocated for shared future cooperation on Thursday at a press conference on the sidelines of the second session of the 14th National People’s Congress.
He emphasized the significance of building a community with a shared future for humanity, stating that it has emerged as a prominent symbol guiding contemporary progress.
Furthermore, Wang Yi highlighted the evolution of the concept from a mere proposition to a comprehensive system and stressed its transformation into an international consensus with practical implications.

“Currently, the world landscape is undergoing profound changes, and human society is facing multiple challenges, Wang said at a press conference on the sidelines of the second session of the 14th National People’s Congress.”
Wang underscored China’s efforts to foster shared futures with numerous countries and regions across various sectors.
Moreover, he noted that this vision has been endorsed in United Nations General Assembly resolutions and embraced by multilateral platforms like the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS.

“The prevailing reality dictates that global challenges require collective action and mutual cooperation,”. Wang stated, emphasizing the interconnectedness of nations and the imperative for collaborative solutions.
He asserted the principle that the future of humanity should be collectively determined. In addition to this, Wang reiterated China’s commitment to inclusive collaboration.
Moreover, Wang declared that China will steadfastly stand for human growth and the right side of history.
He said, “As it pursues its development, China will work to protect global peace and development. It will increase its contributions to it as it develops domestically,”
He expressed China’s readiness to collaborate with the global community to build a world characterized by openness and inclusivity.
