Ningxia，10 August 2021 (TDI): Russia and China have started their joint military exercises at the training base of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The drill started on 9th August and will continue till 13 August.
The Russian and Chinese sides informed that the purpose of these exercises is to display the determination and competence of both parties, together with their ability to battle terrorists and to cooperatively protect regional peace and security.
Almost 10,000 Russians and Chinese soldiers are participating in the drills with the purpose to improve their capabilities.
China and Russia have been conducting drills for the fourth year in a row. The intensive military cooperation between China and Russia and the continuous deepening of bilateral military cooperation have continuously enriched the relations between the two militaries.
