London, 29 August 2021 (TDI): Chinese Ambassador to the United Kingdom Zheng Zeguang met Professor Rana Mitter, Director of the University of Oxford’s China Center.
The Ambassador tweeted that he had a fruitful and productive talk with the Director. Both sides discussed China’s glorious history and epic culture and exchanged reviews on the China-UK culture exchange programs. They also touched upon the current matters of regional and international levels and exchanged their valuable insights on them.
China is keen to build her tangible soft image, and for this China has opened her study and cultural centers at multiple universities throughout the world. China believes in amicable and mutually lucrative relationships on a level playing field. In recent times, China has been successfully engaged in public diplomacy and making a strong soft image throughout the world.
