Islamabad, 9 August 2021 (TDI): Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan congratulates Ali Alizada on his new appointment as an ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iran and also as a permanent representative of Azerbaijan to the Economic Cooperation Organization.
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilam Aliyev, has appointed Ali Alizada on these designations by keeping in view his extraordinary efforts for Azerbaijan in the past. The diplomat has served his services in Pakistan from 2016 to 2021 after which he was replaced by Khazar Farhadov, the incumbent Azerbaijani diplomat to Pakistan. Ali Alizada has replaced Bunyad Huseynov as the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iran. Back in 2010, Ali has also provided his services in the city of Tabriz in Iran as consul general.
The president of Azerbaijan has entrusted the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary with the challenging task of not only strengthening cordial bilateral relations with Iran under the leadership of new president Ebrahim Reisi but also producing his best efforts to consolidate economic relations of Central Asian countries via the forum of Economic Cooperation Organization.
The high-ranking diplomat is receiving kind words and sincere wishes from his colleagues and his followers for his new appointment.
