Sanaa (TDI): Yemen’s Houthi movement has said it is prepared for further escalation and continues to coordinate closely with its regional allies.
In a televised address broadcast by Al-Masirah TV, Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi stated that the group is ready for “any escalation or new developments” amid the current regional situation.
He said the group remains in close coordination with what it calls the “Axis of Resistance,” particularly regarding developments in Lebanon and Palestine, as well as what he described as US actions in the region.
Al-Houthi warned regional actors against being drawn into conflicts that, in his view, serve Israeli interests. He also said the Middle East is going through a critical phase that requires heightened awareness and responsibility.
He said that Israel is committing serious violations in Palestine and Lebanon and pursuing broader regional ambitions.

In a separate statement, the Houthi-aligned Foreign Ministry expressed support for Hezbollah in Lebanon, backing what it described as resistance to agreements involving Israel. It reiterated its position that armed resistance remains the most effective way to counter Israeli actions.
The statement also referred to broader regional tensions, which have intensified in recent months following military strikes and retaliatory actions involving Iran, Israel, and US interests in the region.
