Baku, 9 August 2021 (TDI): Jeyhun Bayramov, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan spoke to Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of Russia on Telephone today.
The ministers exchanged good thoughts and discussed matters pertaining to bilateral coordination. Both the parties stressed enhancing bilateral ties by integrating International Organizations and multilateral institutions. The parties discussed the situation of escalating violence at the Azerbaijan-Armenia border and expressed concerns about the loss of lives on both sides of the borders. They discussed different dimensions of the Nagorno Karabakh Ceasefire Agreement 2020 and the January 11 Trilateral Statement 2021. The Ministers vowed to work for trilateral trade and economic cooperation by fostering peace and harmony in the region.
