Kabul, 20 August 2021 (TDI): On Friday, Ghulam M. Isaczai, Afghanistan’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations had a meeting with Abdallah Al-Mouallimi, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
Ambassador Isaczai commended Saudi Arabia for its unwavering support for the Afghan people. Both parties addressed the necessity of supporting gains in Afghanistan in areas including human rights, particularly women’s rights, as well as the need to enhance humanitarian aid.
