Islamabad, 5 August 2021 (TDI): The Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong welcomed the new SAPM (Special Assistant to Prime Minister) on CPEC affairs, Khalid Mansoor.
“Greetings to Khalid Mansoor and looking forward to the collaborative growth of CPEC”, tweeted Nong.
In the same tweet, Nong Rong also bid farewell to former chairman CPEC Asim Bajwa, who recently stepped down from the position. Rong paid tribute to Bajwa on his efforts for CPEC and mentioned that their joint collaboration and efforts for CPEC will be cherished and acknowledged.
Bajwa, in response to Rong’s tweet, also tweeted and cherished his time working with Amb. Rong on CPEC. “I’ve always believed that CPEC is our lifeline and that with our devotion it will become a reality,” said Bajwa.
