Joint Declaration demands Global origin-tracing of COVID-19

Geneva, 5 August 2021 (TDI): Over 300 political groups, social networks and think tanks from more than 100 countries, all over the globe, submitted a joint statement to the World Health Organization (WHO) Secretariat to unite in the fight against the global pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic has not discriminated among countries and posed a serious threat to every aspect of life, mainly to the health and economic sector. Therefore, the Joint Declaration has announced multiple demands. First, the international community should enhance cooperation against the fight of Coronavirus Pandemic; second, the WHO should detect the origin of COVID-19 globally; third, the experts of Science and Medicine should join hands in tracing the virus because it is a scientific issue; fourth, a report should be based on facts and proofs; fifth, the concept of “Vaccine nationalism” should be rejected; last, the global population should be strengthened by eliminating “immunity gap”.

China was appreciated by the association of political parties, organizations, and institutions for leading the world in providing aid and exporting vaccines in the region and other states.
