World’s Largest Miyawaki Urban Forest in Punjab

-

Lahore: 9th August 2021 (TDI) Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is set to achieve another milestone by initiating world’s largest Miyawaki Forest in Punjab.

Since the time Imran Khan became the Prime Minister of Pakistan, he encouraged people to plant trees so that we have a clean and green environment in the future. This time Prime Minister Imran Khan has initiated World’s Largest Miyawaki Urban Forest, Saggian. To execute this ambitious initiative 100 Kanal land will be required for the plantation of 160,000 plants. This forest will change the environmental landscape of Lahore and prove to be beneficial for the environment.

The United Nations had already come up with a Climate Change Conference where it encourages countries to focus on the major plantations in cities. This is a great step towards a green environment.
