Washington DC, 9 August 2022 (TDI): The Biden Administration supported the ceasefire in
Gaza to restore the peace and stability in the region.
The administration had previously assured that it would support the restoration of peace in Gaza.
After three days of extreme violence which killed nearly 43 people. The ceasefire
came into effect. The US-initiated agreement will ensure supplies and fuel delivery for the civilians in the region.
USA’s Recognition of Egypt’s efforts:
The US administration has assured of quick recovery and protection of the people of Gaza. Moreover, the government expressed condolences to the families of the injured.
The government also appreciated Egypt’s efforts as a mediator in this conflict. The Biden administration also praised the role of Qatar and the Palestinian Authority in occupied Gaza.
Moreover, the government also thanked the UN Special Envoy for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland, for his efforts in bringing stability to the region.

Furthermore, the US team conducted combined partnerships for this vital cause. All actors played a substantial role in bringing firmness and peace back to the region.

Palestine and Israel Conflict
The conflict between Palestine and Israel started with the announcement of Israel’s independence, which divided Palestine’s land. With passing time, the ongoing war in Palestine has destabilized the country and the safety of its individuals.
Israeli bombardments have killed millions of lives and marginalized thousands of Palestinians.
Distressed environments create war-like situations in the region. Stabilizing the conditions
require mutual support and assurance for the people of Palestine.

Biden Administration guaranteed the Palestinian people prosperity, peace, freedom, and democracy in the region.
The US also ensured that it is fully committed to bringing peace to Gaza. Moreover, it dedicated itself to the long-term peace-building strategies.
The US government tried restoring security in Israel and will keep engaged for the next few days. To improve the quality of life in Israel, the US will partner with other actors to ensure peace in the Gaza strip.
