Peshawar (TDI): US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker visited Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to underline the role of American businesses in supporting local communities and to highlight how stronger US-Pakistan economic cooperation can help unlock the province’s full potential for shared growth and prosperity.
During her visit, Baker inaugurated a new KFC outlet in Nowshera and toured a newly established Deaf Reach School supported by KFC, showcasing the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Since 2014, KFC has contributed to improving opportunities for Pakistan’s deaf community by supporting education, vocational training, and employment for young people across the country.
This partnership exemplifies how US businesses expand opportunity and economic impact. The Deaf Reach Schools are run by the NGO Family Education Services Foundation, established by the American philanthropists Richard Geary and Heidi Gustanski-Geary.
