The US and Lebanon have a strong and strategic relationship with the former being the primary security partner of the latter. The US has provided bilateral security assistance to the Lebanese Armed Forces. Aside from that it also provides humanitarian aid to Lebanon ever since the Syrian crisis.
Lebanon has been facing turmoil, domestically. More specifically after the blast at the Beirut port. Many countries have assured to help the country during the dire times, including Turkey, Jordan and Germany.
