Kabul, 25 August 2021 (TDI): Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the UN stated that the UN had been conducting missions for the development and peace in Afghanistan for a very long time. For nearly two decades, the UN is active in Afghanistan to support its people and maintain stability.
He stated that the UN will remain in Afghanistan to support its people and continue to live until peaceful resolution and stability are achieved in a war-torn country. He added that they will continue to protect the staff working in Afghanistan. He also ensured the safety of Afghan people who have been suffering for two decades.
