Ukraine evacuates 83 more people from Kabul

Kabul, 23 August 2021 (TDI): Dmytro Kuleba, Foreign Minister of Ukraine, announced that a Ukrainian military plane flew 83 additional individuals out of Kabul.

Thirty-one Ukraine nationals and foreigners, including human rights activists, Afghan women and children, journalists from various news agencies such as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, are among the passengers. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister confirmed that the passengers landed safely in Kyiv.

Ukraine has not abandoned its people in Afghanistan. It is also assisting citizens from other countries and is preparing more evacuations from Afghanistan.
